Eventually, the project was handed over to the original developer team, who went on to release a mobile game in Japan using the CryptoCrystal IP, with over 70,000 downloads so far.
Inspired by the success of Axie Infinity, CryptoCrystals is working to implement a play-to-earn model into their game. The vision is to allow players to collect the valuable Crystals in VR or in the meta-verse, similar to Pokemon GO.
